Combining Mozaic scripts.

Hi friends,
I have a couple of Mozaic scripts that I use for midi control in AUM.
They work great and are a bit beyond my ability to modify them greatly.
I had a lot of help from Wim and others in this forum when they were created.

My question is a general one. Is there a simple way I can run both of them at the same time in AUM?

Could it be as simple as running them in parallel or series?

It would seem combining them into one script would be best but I am afraid that that is beyond my capability at this time.
Any input will be appreciated. Thanks, LooseBruce

  • Sure you can. Load separate Mozaic instances in AUM MIDI slots. Load each script in a different Mozaic instance. Route the MIDI as you wish in the MIDI routing matrix. Be careful not to generate duplicate MIDI messages. I routinely do this with StreamByter; it will be the same for Mozaic. See pics.

    Yes.

  • fwiw, combining scripts is at least as much and probably farm more work than just starting over with a whole new script. So, you're on the right track by running them as separate instances.

  • If you have a particular combination where the functions could be distilled into one new script idea, feel free to propose it. Someone might take you up on it.

  • Thank you both so much for your help.❤️
I will try running separate instances and see how it works.
