Line in on IMPC pro, WTH?
I purchased the impc pro to record my hardware synths , drums, ect. but have not had any luck with the line in option? Anyone have any luck with a Griffin Studio Connect yet? My griffin works with every other app I have but impc does not seem to recognize it. Is there some setting I am missing?

Maybe audiobus with audioshare as output solve your problem!
No audiobus feature that I know of for impc pro just interapp I thought. I am looking to record live into impc pro from the line in.
What you can do is host iMPC Pro in a AudioBus compatible app and get iMPC Pro to work with AudioBus that way.
AudioShare allows you to do this easily.. Although there is a bit of a problem if you are using it in the input slot on iOS7 in that the IAA app doesn't seem to be getting routed through AB, but you can still hear it. So it could do what you need in the output slot.
How do I host impc through audioshare? I did not find that option. I can only use copy/paste?
Click record (mic in bottom left), in the plus buttons in middle to add effects add impc pro on the same row as mic. Replaces mic in with IAA in. Host Audioshare in AB input slot .... Done!
Thanks, Alot!
No sound to impc. I got to monitor in audioshare but as soon as i added impc i lost sound.
Add audioshare ass IAA in impc pro connect your device with audioshare throu audiobus!
Thinking this through, this wouldn't work. IMPC won't talk to AudioBus. The line in goes to AudioShare and you can monitor, but when you connect iMPC pro, nothing is connecting to the line in port in iMPC Pro. So all you need to do is remove AudioBus from the equation.
And after testing this...AudioShare. But there other apps, I've just got something working with Cubasis.
You need an app that will function as an IAA instrument or generator and will pass the line signal from its input to output. AudioShare doesn't do that, but Cubasis does. Set up a track in Cubasis to monitor the line input (I used the ipad mic, but the principle is the same) and then set up iMPC Pro with Cubasis as an IAA source. Then you can sample your line input to iMPC Pro as required.
When I tried with AudioShare the monitor signal didn't get passed as an IAA output stream, you can only stream files into iMPC Pro.
So as long as you have an app that works as described above you should be ok. Just checked and you could also use Loopy.
sorry I was explaining the reverse ferret...
If only this would get on audiobus instead of the short bus! I get so tired of apps that look promising only to find out they dont work well. This is going to be getting a bad review From me I am fairly sure.
I had more fun giving that review than using the app. I looked around by the way and it seems no one else got this to work correctly either. Not much love for it as a sampler outside of interapp use.
Maybe this could help you ?

I am trying to sample line in and it is not the same. I also do not wish to stand on my head and chew jelly beans just to get an app to work lol. Thanks for the tip though.
There's a way of doing this through loopy in the iaa fx slot. Put loopy in and you should get the signal. Sorry if someone else already answered this can't be asked to read the whole thread it's too early for my brain to compute.
Thanks I will try this later when I am up and around. I've been sick and just do not have the energy right now to move from my location.
Still seems sad that the developers can not work this out given all of their hype for the stupid thing! If only they would ask for help from the audiobus team instead of leaving a mess for users to figure out it would make things so much better.
