Best Live Pitch Shifter App

Good evening, everyone. I need a pitch shifter app to use with live vocals, and I need three different things. First, I need to octave my voice. In one situation, it would be cool if it created a really strange voice for a comedic effect, something very synthetic, but in another case, I’d like it to sound more humanized, so I can use it as a second voice in the song. I also want to use it as a harmonizer by playing the voices on the keyboard. In this case, I’d like the voices to be as humanized as possible.

Which app do you recommend? I’ve seen several options. Which one do you think has the most humanized voice possible, avoiding that synthetic vocoder sound?

  • BLEASS Voices can do all of this, BLEASS Vox also has some formants and other modulation it can do.

Voices is brilliant, one of the better apps for vocals I've ever used.

Vox I haven't used enough to say one way or the other but Voices is well worth the price In my opinion.

Consider this app as well. Recently released

    https://apps.apple.com/us/app/melovox-vocal-harmony/id6544800478

Do the harmonics trigger via key as a sequence of keys ?

    Like Bleass voices.

The 8th harmonic wont trigger until the 8th poly note played etc.

Its just bleass cant be used in Drambo like Aum ( all the addional harmonic voices )

You only get 4 stereo harmonics in Drambo ( I think )

    The rest mono.

Pauls app probably sounded less robotic ( the demo ) anyway.

  • It was exactly these two plugins I was unsure about purchasing: BLEASS Voices and MeloVox. I still don't know which one is better.

    What's Paul's app?

  • In my view, BLEASS Voices seems to have a more synthetic sound, offering many options to modulate the sound. MeloVox seems to aim for a more authentic sound and is more straightforward to use, which might fit better with what I'm looking for.

    This looks very interesting.
But there’s one feature I can’t find anywhere except my Voicelive3, to listen to the guitar input to generate melodies… ie the harmonies follow the guitar notes, not the vocal notes, so it’s way more interesting.

I thought at least one of these can use midi input to generate the harmonies in which case you can use midi guitar 2, as a midi input and do what you describe. I think I have seen people mention doing that, but I don’t recall which vocal harmony was lugin they were using.
