Whelp let us know if any more of us should give up using the AU version for this hardware.
Will do, ETA is Thursday from Thomann, demo forthcoming…
$799 for this kind of analogue power is bonkers!
Nice, mike.
I could sell a Faderfox pc12. Buy a midi merger or see if the Behringher has the correct din.
Now I know Drambo can cc modulate hardware synth parameters.
Keep thinking I need that other Poly but good UI ios synth. There are some I havent bought ( Zeeon etc )
and actually settled for OBXD ios, anyway.
Nice, sounds like a thick Oberheim. I guess the 'D' stands for Desktop? not Digital?
Congrats, would love to hear some demos once you get it.
Seems like you would need a mpe controller though.
You could use an ipad but probably would need to lose an ipad from system, if not , midi out from audio interface were to hw synth but synth would respond to all midi elsewhere.
Unless app like woodtroller. You get mpe1, mpe 16 and then 1-16.
Maybe theres a midi channel that can be mpe on 1 channel.
Thank you @sigma79! Yeah, little known about the Hydrasynths, they also can send MPE in addition to PT.
Thank you! Yes, “D” for “Desktop” 👍 Demos on the way…
No worries.
Happy for you.
Make a demo.
Sell us the Behringher
( I forgot id also need audio inputs ) if buying.
Nice one @Stuntman_mike hope you enjoy it, have fun and let us know, may have to get one later as it’s certainly more compact in comparison to the synth version.
Thank you @knewspeak! Hopefully, Behringer creates homages to the CS80 and Jupiter 8. I know Yamaha and Roland are aggressive about protecting their IP 🙏
Amazing @Stuntman_mike. Very much looking forward to your review.
@cyberheater thank you!
The UB-XA D arrived today, IT IS A BEAST!!!
It’s HUGE, HEAVY definitely sturdy: metal and wood 👍 It sounds OOF!!!
My Behringer section, UB-Xa D dwarfs the Model D and Wasp.
Hows the synth mike ?
Looks good.
Congrats! Today was supposed to be a Digitakt 2 day, but now you’re making me want to break out the OB-6! That Oberheim sound is just so goosebumpy for me, I’m sure you’ve got a fun day ahead!
Nice! @Stuntman_mike did you order to the US from Thomann? And if so, did it come up with a US power supply?
Yessir, Thomann is awesome, they threw the US power supply, no extra cost!
Sounds amazing, I’m working on a demo to share!
Man, it sounds delicious!
32 analog oscillators 🤯
…VERY MUCH WORTH $799, Behringer did a great job, should probably be $1600
I’m fantasizing about a Jupiter 8 and CS80 from Behringer in the same form factor with MPE as well
Excellent! Enjoy!
Thank you!
Beware of that thick and creamy sound, it may be too intoxicating.
Bet it sounds stunning.
I’ve been blowing kisses at it 😆
