Mainly Moog, a little Luapsel: Black Site
“A secret facility used by a country's military as a prison and interrogation centre, whose existence is denied by the government.”
After my last two efforts went a little off piste from my usual beat, I thought I’d go back to some of yer actual dark ambient with this one. Moogs Mariana and Model 15, Thump on doom drum, driven by Rozeta Rhythm, with an assist from Luapsel on lead. Quite pleased with the way it turned out. Especially the Amen Break sample.
Enjoy/ignore as is your wont, peeps!

Love this!! It reminds me a little of 'The Haxan Cloak' in sheer dread.
Ooh, I had never heard of him. Googling his stuff now. Thanks for the listen, and the lead.
Great (dark) space here.
The lead like a rusted blade.
Ominous cubed
I’d like to see this made into an @MadeofWax production. Who knows, you might get lucky. Very good production, too.
I would be honored to make a video for Svetlovska. I'd be honored to make one for you. My only fear is that my videos might not be able to hold interest as long as your music. My latest video for Paul at 4 minutes was quite a challenge.
I'm actually curious to see what Svetlovska would create with a text to video service. Given the high quality of her creations and the stories that accompany them I imagine it would be something awesome to behold.

Super dope, all of it- love the resources used, you know your craft and it shows. Now did you say Thumb One? Love that thing so much. I’ve recently discovered how next fkn level Chow Kick is- and cry everytime it incorporates flawlessly with whatever satanic midi is commanding it to do so.
Wish more folks shared their ThumpOne presets. It’s a great lil thumper
ThumP got damnit
@MadeofWax i’ll think if there’s a track visual enough for your talents.
I'm sure you and Svetlovska both have plenty of music and ambient tracks that would be amazing to work with. The challenge is finding ways to work around the current shortcomings of AI video and my own limited ability.
Right now AI's biggest weakness is consistency. Having characters and environments that change every 4 to 8 seconds requires some creative editing to make a coherent narrative.
Luapsel is Les Paul spelled backwards.
as per usual, your sonic treats are awesome.
Thanks all for all your kind comments and the listens. It really does encourage me to keep trying! I am always impressed with those creators here, such as @MadeofWax, who manage to produce images as compelling as their music. I’ve had a few stabs myself, but not with the latest gen AI video things. I should probably look into it, but I’m not going to sign up to a subscription to do it.
I’d not want to try to pressure anyone into anything - one of the reasons I don’t make many vids is I find the process about ten times more arduous than actually making a track in the first place, so I fully understand why no-one is rushing to do it for me.
I will say though, that, as ever, all my stuff is always up for grabs for others to remix, mess with, or, yes, even create vids for if they would like to do so. For example, @rottencat created some beautiful things using my noises a while back, very grateful for those.
Tl:dr - I’m always fascinated to see what others can make of my stuff, if they fancy it. The offer is always out there.
Finally: would anyone care to recommend any free text to video services which might be worth a try for me?

Luma has 30 free watermarked per month

Vidu gives 80 free credits at 4 credits per generation, so 20 free watermarked although they are experiencing some growing pains. Over the weekend there have been complaints about the servers.

I don't know if Kling has a free trial but they seem to be popular on the r/aivideo subreddit

At the moment I think all the services are subscription based. There really isn't a comparable open source app people can install locally yet.
Since you are open to sharing your work, I will definitely be spending some time going through your SoundCloud catalog.
Thank you in advance.
Great piece… had an aboriginal / didgeridoo feel to me which is meant as a compliment 👌
If you have the desktop version of ThumpOne you can get a free 808 Kicks presets download.

Evokes hypnotic, creeping darkness. Not easy to escape this place that doesn’t exist
