A Gentle Keening
GeoCello played (by me) over a backing provided by 12 instances of Waverley (Standard, Tables and XL) all played by Piano Motifs.

The cello tone and playing are amazing! Music that brings to mind walking in desolate moors or heaths (of my imagination…More used to marshes and Walmarts over here).
Another accomplished piece. Lovely cello sound.
And keening. We all need more keening in our lives ![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Beautiful! A definite sense of desolation and very nicely played.
I did a bit of research about keening when Doug Woods and I were recording our second album, Folklore, released in 2015. I stumbled across a sample of the women protestors at Greenham Common back in the 80s when they were protesting about the siting of US Cruise Missile bases in the UK. They did a mass keening. I featured the sample on this track The Keening (Lament for a Lost Soul). It also features a cello but this one would have been from Thumbjam.

Thanks Joel @myapologies , lots of moors and heaths around here 😊
👍 Irena @Svetlovska , sounds like you’re keen on keening !
Cheers Colin ( @AlterEgo_UK ), your track was fantastic, loved the change at about 1:45. Is that you or Doug doing the wailing ? I will definitely listen to the album after hearing that track 👌
Thanks @GeoTony - that was me joining in with the wailing! In fact all that track is me - Doug wasn't very well when we were recording it so I did several tracks myself and Doug did some.
