Ah, Finale, those were the days. Sad to see it go, but looks like Dorico is the way to go then regarding notation.
I still have the executable for windows, from back in the days. Used it a lot too, when I was heading a percussion group and the dinosaurs still roamed the earth

It‘s a remarkable piece of software history, since Phil Farrand (together with others) already developed a notation software in 1984 for the Apple II called Polywriter. Found an interesting article here: https://www.music-tech-solutions.co.jp/en/post/finale_polywriter_en Searching for Polywriter on archive.org, you will find one version, which actually works in an emulator in the browser.
Wow. I started using Finale in 1995 but haven't kept up with it much in the last few years since I've been heading toward electronic music more and more. It's sad to see it discontinued though...
