Fun with AB

edited March 2013 in Creations

Weekend jam with some friends at work, using Cubasis, JamUp Pro, and AB. Used the Akai EIE to get everyone into the iPad.

  • That link won't work. Try this one: https://soundcloud.com/funjunkie27/satjam1

Nice little jam. I wish I had a job that I could jam at.

  • Thanks for the corrected link and comment @MrNezumi. Not sure how mine got skewed. Definitely a plus to have co-workers to jam with, but to be clear, we jammed at my house. I could have worded that better to avoid confusion. It would be nice to be able to jam at work!

  • Nice Raggae feel. Either you work at a music store or you're the boss.

  • Thanks @mgmg4871. Actually, I work in satellite communications, which might seem like an odd fit for finding musicians, but there are several on site. I've had as many as nine over to my house for jam sessions, and they're always a blast! This past weekend was the first jam where I pulled out the iPad though and everyone was intrigued and amazed at what can be done in AB.

  • Nice track..it's always good to jam..

  • @funjunkie. No, satellite and musicians fit. Most are a little spaced out.

  • @mgmg4871 - lol....shoulda seen that one coming. It's no surprise that the jam had a reggae feel, since the bass player is from Jamaica.

Thanks @thesoundtestroom. I had never played with others up until about 4 months ago, and now I'm hooked!
