  • Wow! Thanks!

  • Wow! Thank you
I can’t believe one of my hero’s and IMO the BEST all around Dev [for his scope and range of work , instruments , tools and hardware hybrid integration (Tula mic) ] has an uglier and messier studio than I do!!!

    J/k lol

    Thank you Sean

Glad you’re having fun on your journey

  • Did Klevgrand and Jakob sign off release for these videos?

  • Who cares?

  • Amazing apps all, I cannot express how important Brusfri has become for my audio recording. There is honestly not a single track in the last 7 years that doesn’t use Brusfri first. Klevgrand has my highest appreciation.

+1 Brusfri …. Plus the Tula mic
How cool is it Brusfri is built into the firmware

    Klevgrand rules

Do you seriously think they’d let themselves be recorded and then not want these videos released?

  • More importantly : who cares?

Why would ANYONE ask if professionals signed a release?????

That’s what I’m wondering more than anything lol

  • I've been on a Klevgrand kick lately so it's awesome to see the studio setup they have and my fave iOS YouTuber. Thanks!

Also, I'm a Brusfri evangelist. Got a tula mic and both the iOS and desktop version. Works great in weird situations and music recording.

I had no idea there were two….what are the differences! I want a Tula mic but I can’t decide whether to get a filed pop filter and use the great onboard mic or use a Tula (and how does it compare to an sm58 ?)

no differences between the two, that I can tell. no idea about the sm58. I like odd microphones so compared to my King Bee Mic, it's great for an all-around mobile recorder and it works with ipad which is why I got it (also to have a seafoam green table mic). Don't buy it for sound quality alone and the onboard brusfri isn't going to be the most useful if you already have brusfri unless you want to skip the post-processing. It's definitely boutique in the sense it has a ton of niche use cases but there are better well-established brands for more features/higher quality.

Edit* Also rechargeable battery and using it as an audio interface kills a lot of hassle for me and lets me use it for streaming/work.

Do you find when you sing or record vocals it is a great transmission. Or would you prefer “proper” phantom powered mic thru an interface ? The Brusfri built in has my attention lol

  • Did you know Apple made a Brusfri that just seems available in Drambo but not in Aum ( These aus they keep making )

Not sure if good yet, though.

  • Brusfri works well for me in my DAws

    Good question.

I met Jakob early on before we arrived at Klevgrand. We toured this area of Sweden, and although we hung out for almost 5 hours, I only recorded a very small section of the meetup.

I also checked with Klevgrand and made sure the clips I’m showing aren’t anything proprietary. They’ve moved studios so often, so there’s a chance in a few years, they won’t be at this location.

Even Jakob said in the first video that Klevgrand isn’t actually a studio. It’s a street. It’s a community of music makers and developers coming together to make something.

The KLEVGR we buy apps, that’s a company. They’ve worked with people like Volvo, and much more.

Purpose of the video is to show that there’s a lot that can be done in small spaces. If the first thing we think whenever trying a creative endeavour is the lawyers, well that’s fear talking. Find the source of the fear, and take necessary steps to mitigate it.

Edit: I updated the original post with the link to the first video.

  • Sorry but it was a terrible question ….but great answer nonetheless

Nah, there’s no terrible questions. It’s just how it can be interpreted that can cause conflicts. Believe me, I’ve had to learn that, especially on the forums.

Yeah, it’s also visible in GarageBand. They added a few new AUs but only a few DAWs have been configured to use them.

    Me also.

    Just noticed the au.

Seemed to be better at noise reduction. Brusri has to adjust filters to be similar but when I said I need to test the apple version.

because wasnt sure if the better noise reduction were also affecting the audio.

Its probably not better ( the apple version )

becuse all the other free aus that appear in host, are kinda lame compared to the usual apps we know.

Thanks @Jerry. Really appreciate the support. Been gone a while, so it’s great I still have a few viewers.
Yeah, Brusfri is definitely my favorite app from Klevgrand. Jussi is a close second, but I haven’t tried Luxe.

    @sigma79
Yeah, it’s a bit of trial and error with the new AUs. There are some situations it’s fantastic, and others not so much. But that’s the great part about having options.

  • Maybe the best music bundle on the planet is the klevgrand everything bundle !

    You mean the ausoundisolation unit?

    Ya.

    What do you think?

Just made a vid but wont upload.

I could block a fan noise on both but when holding ipad next to fan. Only on Brushfi could you hear the fan but came at a cost to the apple app ( with warble to my own voice, right next to fan )

Not sure Brusfri could isolate as much without also lowering voice volume.

and the app version could re-introduce fan to maybe less warble of voice.

    I guess it means.

Is there a point in brusfri eq and envelope ( with a bit of fan )

better than apples no eq and no envelope ( with a bit of fan )

    Setting.

Yea I think apples ausoundisolation is more of an ai seperation like spleeter/lets unmix whereas I think Brusfri is more of a dynamic eq and band filter?

Think that the ai seperation is going to have more artifacts but leave more audio untouched whereas a filter might sound cleaner but change the overall sound more

    Not sure.

    What are people saying?

Its not that important to me but just posted about the app, anyway.

So, the video is now LIVE. Well, it’s unlisted at the moment but as promised, I’ll post here first before any other platforms.

Edit: YouTube is currently processing video, but I gotta sleep which is why I posted the link here. Next time, I’ll wait until it’s processed before posting. Sorry about that.

YouTube…why you do this? I spent a week on this video.

  • Yeah, technology hasn't been my friend this past week. Even the video didn't render all the way. Oh Youtube, why do you do me like this?

I'll have to upload the end portion on a later date. Currently out and about in the next adventure.

    NEXT VIDEO : @Gravitas Returns...

  • The Volvo synth Rulla seen in the video 😃

  • “Season 6”?

I see a couple of videos on YT for “Season 4” but where are Seasons 1, 2, 3 and 5?! 🤣
