For now, what I bought is just the Flamma FV01 vocal pedal; it already has a preamp, so it should solve everything. But I haven't tested it yet; I'm waiting for it to arrive.
The SM58 is not a super detailed microphone to begin with, it's an 'industry standard' and just about any console can deal with it more than well. It does need a bit of EQ and Compression to shine, that's about it.
Make a dry recording of your voice and learn to EQ & Compress it to sound the way you like it to sound and then apply the knowledge to the venues console and the sound-tech, if you tell them that your voice needs a boost or cut at certain frequencies and slight compression it'll make their job easier and you don't have to worry about potential feedback by boosting the mic too much at the source...
As long as you keep the cable runs less than 100 meters it should be just fine, spank the sound-tech and don't worry about it!
If the SM58 doesn't provide you with the sound you desire feel free to try other mics, the Beta 58A might be a good start...
That's a good idea to really understand how I like the equalization of my voice, I'll do that
