Love the chord changes. I bought Scaler2 about a year ago and never did anything with it. I think I will fire it up this afternoon. Did you use Cubasis for this? I watched a video on SoundTestRoom that said it was ideal for that DAW. If not, can you describe your setup?
I’ve been noticing the possible death of Death Machines. Now you’re on the ocean floor. Keep on the upward journey, my friend. 👍🙏😘😎
Hey @Paulieworld, thanks you! I just use Scaler2 as a midi generator in AUM with a few fx busses. On this one I used YaleD, Velvet Machine, and Blackhole with Mlfo controlling a couple parameters to hopefully make it less boring. All the included chord sets along with the “Suggest” feature allow me to build more interesting progressions than I would know how to otherwise. It is definitely great for iPad only production so you might really like it. I should watch that SoundTestRoom video to learn all the features I don’t use. I believe you can also feed it midi from other generators, and it will spit out arpeggios and other patterns, but don’t quote me on that! It’s pretty amazing.
@LinearLineman, you are of course correct. Good riddance to those infernal machines. My son and I love to read about the deep sea. He’s taught me quite a bit so the new moniker is actually more buoyant and ebullient than it may seem-and arguably a little more tasteful than “The Bottom Feeders” 😉 Thank you for listening, noticing, and caring!
Nice work, lovely chords. Enjoyed the gradual ‘decline’ of the ending 👍
Thanks for all the listening and feedback, @Geotony
