The first documented sighting of the elusive beaver-man.

Haha, he is alone and enjoying the scenery. 😉

Only in video, I guess, it’s too much resolution for the real-time LUT preview in photos.

There’s one that’s supposed to do it. PhotonCam. $13 though. Not sure if I want LUT import that bad
Are you sure it has live LUT preview? From the app store description, it looks like it’s in the photo editor only.

It says you can import LUTs to use as filters. And also says you can use builtin filters during capture or editing. I’m not certain if that includes LUT filters that the user creates.
XP4N doesn’t use LUTs though.
In photoshop terms, each mode is more like an “action” containing about a dozen different filters and adjustments per photo. And some modifications are linked to current exposure and lighting parameters.
That’s why it would never be possible to apply this in realtime (I.e. to the viewfinder).
If you ever decided to make a version of XP4N that would let me import my own LUTs and apply in realtime (and let me choose the aspect ratio.. all the way from square up to the widescreen that XP4N has... I'd buy that one too. And, I'd certainly be willing to pay more than a dollar for it.
Looks like you'd only have one app to compete with too... that appears to be an obscure Chinese developer.
This was a lush green forest last spring, now it’s a barren landscape thanks to intense wildfires this past fall. Crazy how the lower bark exploded off the trees and not a single bit of flammable material is on the forest floor due to the heat.
I would like to explore this subject too. It looks like hell on earth. 😵💫
Glimpses from May.
XP4N - B&W High Contrast
Could a feature be added for the camera to be pulled up from the Lock Screen?
After a few weeks/months of testing the XPAN 4 app, I have noticed the following:
I am using the iPhone 15 (iOS 18.4.1). The quality of the XPAN 4 app compared to the “normal” photo is worse. Unfortunately.
What could be the reason for this?
Everything regarding the actual image quality from smartphones is terrible, no matter the app you're using. Don’t even waste your time looking for details, especially on the XP4N output. 😌
It’s designed to emulate the imperfections of certain older analog film types
👌🏼
If @Tarekith's forest represents Mordor, yours clearly represents Entwash! 😅

First few pics

I picked this up recently... Really cool, inspiring app that has me thinking different.
Nice! Merzbow forest.
Full falls this time. I like how the daylite setting in XP4N brought out all sorts of interesting colors in the sky and water.
