SampleTron - Vintage Tape-Modeling Sampler - Full Tutorial & How To Make Your Own Instruments
Here is a tutorial for SampleTron, I cover most things including making your own patches with your own samples.
I honestly think that SampleTron is hands down the best Mellotron app we have on iOS. The fact that we have all the classic Mellotron machines, a Roland VP330 sound set, and an Optigan makes it extremely versatile for the classic Mellotron vibe.
Adding your samples and making your instruments is also fun, mainly because any sample you throw in gives you that Mellotron sound.
Of course, the biggest elephant in the room is the price, at £79.99 it's costly, but if you are a Mellotron head I think it's worth it.

Hey Doug, @thesoundtestroom, as I’ve been discussing the pros and cons of in its own thread, Sampletank 4 Max v2 (desktop version) is currently €49 (even less with 15% Jam Points applied).
That version includes all Sampletank material, full version Sampletron 2, full version Miroslav Philharmonik 2 and all of the Syntronik sampled synths.
Thanks for the video as it will help me decide on whether to purchase the above - I’ve been wondering what user samples sound like going through Sampletron. Cheers.
Watched, the video now, really helpful, thanks Doug @thesoundtestroom. Does it automatically time stretch imported samples across the keyboard range? Sounds like it does but couldn’t quite be sure?
