MultiTrackStudio for editing MIDI with musical notation

I'm searching for an iPad app that includes standard musical notation and will accept and record MIDI notes I play on a keyboard controller, let me edit the musical notation (I have formal training in music composition), and then let me play back the revised music using my AU soft synths. (I'm not interested in printing out musical scores, so I don't need the advanced features of something like StaffPad.)

I use AUM for all my synths and effects. I'd like this musical notation workflow to be as integrated as possible with AUM. If that means a stand-alone app, then I'm hoping for seamless sending/receiving of MIDI.

I surveyed all the threads here and Reddit about musical notation apps. I checked them all out and most, like Dorico and Notation, are only for writing musical notation and integration with MIDI is an afterthought, at best. MultiTrackStudio appears to be the exception.

Am I correct that now, late 2024, the best app to do what I want is MultTrackStudio? Or is there something out there I'm not seeing. I have Logic Pro on my desktop but the new iPad version, from what I read, has stripped out the scoring feature. (I don't use the desktop or laptop in my musical setup; only iPads.)
