Ifretless and iOS8....pain?
I was fortunate enough to win the ifretless package last week, been wanting these apps for a while, but I'm having a bit of a mare getting anything other than hours of diagnostic setup and restart fun.
Anyone having joy on iOS 8 ... Specifically with bass and guitar? Audiobus seems to only enjoy one coming into Cubasis at a time to monitor... Try 2 (on one pipe or 2) and they drop out. Glitches and clicks a plenty and IAA in Cubasis gives me a loop and then it all dies. So many restarts and starting apps in different orders that I'm consigning them to the "visit later" pile unless anyone has any words of wisdom! Gutted!!

Used iFretless Guitar iOS 8.01 on iPhone 5S in Audiobus with AltiSpace and sent midi to Animoog, the Audio from iFretless Guitar worked fine too.
Thanks, yes one works ok. Looking more at 2 together and trying to audiobus monitor or IAA in Cubasis really.
Have you tried it in Audioshare?
I made a short track in Cubasis using all 4 ifretless apps via IAA just to test it out, and had no real issues doing that. Added a bunch of Cubasis internal effects as well, and a drumtrack. No crackles/pops. But, Cubasis is still bit of a mess to use. The undo button will for whatever weird reason stop the playback, and it seems that it also messes up/resets the entire audio system, causing the guitar and bass ifretless versions (mainly) to need a kill/restart. Anyway, no issues with all 4 apps playing (and recording) at the same time via IAA. iPad Air iOS 8.1
Audiobus? I can only get one of'em to give me sound in Cubasis. Tried most things. I never use audiobus for sequencing work though atm, just doesn't work that well at the moment either.
Tried to do a mixdown of it all, but Cubasis is just not up to basic tasks like this at the moment (the mixdown bypasses, or messes with the mixer signal chain, hello Steinberg?:)
I so hope Rim & Co at WaveMachine Labs succeedes in making a proper, working, easy to use, regular classic DAW midi environment (just like with the audio part), coz we sure don't have any on iOS right now. (Yes I've been struggling the last few weeks with iOS midi, Cubasis etc, and it all just sucks donkey balls, so hey I'm a bit grumpy;)
Ha! I'm feeling the same @ChrisG. Thanks loads for the info. I'll give IAA another go, but yes there are some random things that can happen in Cubasis, and restarting is not a fun process when you've not got much time. Pain in the ass.....
I tested Audiobus with both into audioshare @PaulB and they did work. It looks like Cubasis can only recognise one of the 2 apps inbound. Hmmmm. Well maybe it's lucky that I don't have a lot of time at the moment, then. I can get loads of other stuff working OK so I'll stick to those workflows for the moment, but I was having fun using the ifretless apps that I just got.
Thanks for the help
