  • Nope.. no chance .. this is absolutely unique synth, not even any other hardware comes remotely close to it, completely out of anything on iOS..

still worth to buy if you have opportunity

Syntronik has the Alesis Andromeda but different synths, I know.

  • I'm wondering if it's at all possible for that to be recreated in Drambo. 😅 (Yep I said the D-word.)

    Andromeda yes, but Quadrasynth? 🤔
Quadrasynth would be quite easy to DIY on iOS, it doesn't even have resonant filters and mainly relies on PCM samples.
So it's more about finding a source for these samples or sampling them yourself from a QS.

  • Alesis Quardrsynth: NO bass worth writing about . Beathawk much better all around

  • wah, is this possibly the one thing drambo can’t
    do 😏

I love Beathawk. One of my top three romplers in addition to Module Pro and Pure Synth Platinum 2.

Sure it can, it has Sampler and Flexi, ready to load these samples.

    £290, o.n.o. for a 6.2:

Guy’s even throwing in a keyboard stand with it.

    Even cheaper for this QS6:

    £140.

    Looks like a bargain.

Now is clearly the time to pick up 80s rompler synths ,before they get rediscovered as classics.

I’m almost tempted by this rackmount M1 module with 12 (!) expansion cards myself. I remember being blown away by the M1 when it first came out…

The Korg iM1 app has them all, with much better preset browsing and easier card swapping. I just got it in the recent sales and after owning this rack module, I'm a lot happier with the app now 😊

  • Don’t buy. I sold keyboards at a music store. I sold and told RZA from WuTang about the new Ensoniq ASR10.
I was there in 92-93 when the Quadrasymth came out . Nobody wanted it . The entire synth is only
    8 mg DOM.

@rs2000 : Hmm. Didn’t realise they had upgraded iM1 to AUv3. Might check it out come Black Friday… This was always my standout synth wish back in the day, over the DX.

    Totally agree on QS 🤝
