It’s the random note length and velocity I’m after I think. I thought Harmonicer might do this but not sure as I don’t own it.

Edit: this thread has some good suggestions:

    Tatat

Looks good. Does it respond to notes that you play, like an arp?

  • Yes it does. I use Drambo as a midi fx processor AU with just humanizer in it, in an AUM MIDI track and feed notes into it from a sequencer like LK and out from humanizer to whatever synth destination. Of course you can do everything in Drambo itself without the need for AUM. I just like using AUM in my workflow.

    Ok... Thanks..

  • I want that drambo save dude mentioned.

  • Just saying… This also needs to come to iOS..

You can do this with the humanizer module in Drambo.

    What Humanizer Module?

    Thanks..

  • You can build something like this to transform a sterile 16th hat groove into something more lively

Can you upload the patch? Bought Rythmizer and PhraseBox.. but the intimacy of the iPad is where it is at..

    Thanks..

There’s not much to it, and I didn’t save just took the screenshot. But it’s 5 min, I’ll cook something for you later (now I’m actually cooking)

  • What’s going on the screenshot:

    • humanizer to mess with the midi in
    • meta randomizer for variation of the sound source (here it’s slightly variating the bands)
    • the hat1 preset but you could use even a AU instrument with exposed parameters
    • just 4 16ths triggering the sound. Normally you’d use 16, but why many note when few word do trick

Cool.. Mr Drambo did say some great StepSeq are coming..

Let’s see what he has cooking..

  • I saw an ad for rhythmizer yesterday and was suitably impressed.... think I might get it at some point.

On iOS I think Bleass Arp is about the best thing. IMO the coolest feature of Bleass Arp is that you can use a midi note as a trigger note. So, you can create any crazy arp pattern with all the controls but then sequence a note using the trigger note and only hear a note when you want/need one.

Yeah I have this on desktop. I'm a collector of programmable arps! I think I have them all! Feel Your Sound Chord Potion in my experience has been the most useful even though it has a very rudimentary UI. Phrasebox I found a bit fiddly to move notes around and the random needed lots of fine tuning to get anything useful.

On iOS Bleass Arp and good old StepPolyArp are still the best imo

Chord Potion? Thanks.. Do you have SquareHead Nora.. Discontinued... But it is, was the master..

It seems it may be available on CM, but it looks like it lacks the amazing Randomizer.

  • @RajahP Never heard of SquareHead Nora

I watched all the rhythmizer vids yesterday. Seems like it could be heaps of fun with a midi controller mapped to it

Noticed that there are no ‘Snap Shots’.. would be amazing to switch to different saved settings on the fly.. or maybe it is me..

  • Bought today. Really great plugin. We definitely need something like this for ios. Don’t want to have a “drambo-ized” version but something similar
