HoRNet HarmoniQ - Removes Inharmonic Frequencies - Super Useful Time Saving App
This is a very useful and interesting app.
It takes away all the hard slog of removing unwanted inharmonic frequencies.
It does make a difference, especially in harmonically rich content, live instruments, vocals, drums, guitars etc.
In case anyone is wondering how it compares to Scaler EQ I can't answer that because I haven't tried Scaler EQ.

great to see this one in action, thanks Doug.
I’m using this a lot for my guitars and on mastering final mixes. Cleans alotta mess out of my junk.
After trying the demo I do like it. It would be nice to have control over different parts of the frequency, so for example you can leave the bass alone or dial in the desired amount instead of overall.
I’m sold on this now thanks to this video! Rent check coming up so I’ll have to wait a few weeks but yeah this will definitely be useful for me
With regard to the comparison with Scaler EQ, I own Scaler EQ and use it frequently. It is kind of a different prospect to this in terms of inharmonic cleanup/removal and I have given this a look and some consideration to getting it in addition to Scaler.
Scaler EQ detects the key that you are in and then the bands become defaulted to removing off key frequencies or boosting in key frequencies. It doesn't provide any AI guidance of selectively removing those frequencies, so what you decide to cut is very much down to ear or using the inbuilt spectrum analysis. Some instrumentation works with a total spectrum cut of out of key frequencies, without losing any of the integral sound. Other sounds more reliant on their inharmonic elements for character can lose character when it is applied or even gain a comb-filter sounding effect. Ultimately it is a very manual tool for cleanup but with patience you can usually achieve what you are after.
What it does bring alongside it though is a full 6 band EQ with the ability to apply stereo separation or to mono output up to a certain frequency. It has dynamic EQ capabilities in addition so can perform a wide variety of duties and is particularly useful in the mastering stage for me.
Glowing review!
This needs to be quoted for any future marketing 😂😂
lol it’s been quoted now in the what she said thread
