    @Poppadocrock - it's in the information section in the App Store description for every app, isn't it?
    On a very few occasions I've seen posts where someone could install on an earlier version than that listed, but generally no.

    I guess there are some apps though that might download an earlier version if available, but that would be for people that already own the app and are downloading on an older device. I don't think you can purchase on an OS version that is below the minimum listed for an app though. I could be wrong on that point.

    Yes, that happened to me with FAC Drum Kit. Although the App Store said it needs iOS 13, it downloaded an older version on my older iPad. So it’s a trial and error with the apps one already owns.

    Right on. I thought it was somewhere on the App Store but didn’t remember where.

    Also as you mentioned, sometimes an app will download an older version. Yup… trying to download the app and seeing what happens is another option. Some will download an older version. I’ve done that before with older devices with Cubasis, GarageBand, etc… Cheers mate.
