NaviChord - anyone here used it?
I play live keys bass and keys along with a drum machine (Beatbuddy) and/or any of the Lumbeat drum apps.
On arranger keyboards and some digital accordions, they have what is called a "chord sequencer" that captures in real time via MIDI chords you are playing. And you can save that for later use if necessary.
Now, I have tried loopers, but they seem to somehow evade me, so I was thinking if there was any sort of chord sequencing (as opposed to a chord CREATION) app I could bend to this purpose.
Most I found were based around or were, indeed, loopers, but then I found the NaviChord app and the description "reads" like it might do the trick, however as always, devil is in the detail, hence the question here re anyone that may have used it.

Navichord - it’s an iOS Music staple. iOS OG, lol. The thing is it never went AU, so it got a little left behind, so to speak. it still works great via IAA or virtual/core midi. It can sequence, play chords, and even has a separate keyboard that allows you to easily add notes in scale, while the chords are being played/sequenced.
However I do have a couple quick questions/thoughts.
I’m a little unclear on exactly what you are trying to do… do you want to record the midi chords you play, save them, then sequence them?
If I understand correctly there are many options to do this. Not all the sequencers will let you play the chords in, but some do. If you want to record midi chords, save, sequence, share, etc… Wouldn’t a piano roll be able to do that for you…. Something like Atom 2, Helium, or even the free options like helio, and sequencism, etc… either as an AU or in standalone. Are you working in a host/daw or no?
Not to be a jerk… I might be missing something, but If you could be a little more specific of the process you want to achieve, I think there’s something that will work.
