Casio VL-1 sounds?

Does anyone here know if there is an app that has sounds like the Casio VL-1? I’m specifically looking for its wonderful Auto Play mode that had rhythmic pad sounds in various chords… Even soundfonts would do. Thanks in advance!

If you have a desktop system, there is this: http://www.polyvalens.com/vl-1/

But no iPadOS/iOS app I'm aware of yet.

Decent Sampler has a free sample library for the Casio VL-1, as well as the Casio PT-10: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/decent-sampler/id1530441977

Doesn't have Auto Play (or any kind of built in sequencing), but you could use any other MIDI sequencer for that.

  • Thanks @NeuM and @onlydeals! I saw the polyvalens site, I guess I could get it on my laptop and pipe it over to my iPad…
That darn Decent Sampler has now got me very nostalgic. Thanks for the finds.
