Colors In Space Op-1 Field/ Op-1 patches Labor of Love Vol. 1

Today I’m releasing a new OP-1 Field/Op-1 Sound pack.
Featuring 20 multi-sampled instruments, 12 drum kits you can load using a drum sampler.
128 single sampled instruments which you can load using a synth (sampler) channel.
160 sounds total!
This pack has pads, plucks, bells/chimes, leads, drones, bass, strings,
and granular stuff.
What started off as mainly Ambient/experimental patches I decided to include more stuff like Boards of Canada, Tycho, M83, Apex Twin, Flying Lotus, Burial and even some Alessandro Cortini/ Tim Hecker influenced sounds.
Like my other sound pack many of the patches are pads with organic textures layered with dreamy synths.
The granular patches can be used alone or you can layer them on top of your own synths and make custom patches.
I spent over 120 hours on this pack and I really think you will love it.
I’m posting 2 videos so you can take a listen to all of the patches included.
One will be sounds including the multi-sampled instruments and drum patches, the other will be all of the single sampled instruments.
Get all patches for $10.

Actually there is a back story how this all came about. 5 weeks ago I hurt my back while I was working out.
I literally couldn’t get out of bed and even had to go to the emergency room at one point.
Luckily, I’m in Vietnam right now and the doctor bill was only $50.
I ended up going to an acupuncturist and I think this helped quite a bit.
Even to this day my back is sore but at least I can move around and go swimming. I’m afraid to go to the gym at this point because I don’t wanna have to go through that pain again.
While I was laid up in bed, I worked on all these patches.
This was literally the only thing that kept me sane.
Every day I’d be looking outside in the weather would be beautiful, and I was just dreaming of being inside the ocean instead of in my bed. Thank God for Music!

Thx. It’s about 99% better. I think I need to set up PayPal, but I’ll see if I can do it. It’s not a bad idea to have both options.

  • Glad to read you're feeling better. Back pain is debilitating, it's good you found something to occupy you to help take your mind off of it. If you can set up Paypal that would be cool. But also I'm anxious to get a chance to play these sounds. I've never used gumroad so I didn't feel comfortable typing CC info there. Is it secure?

I’ve been using it for a few years and never had issues I’m going to look into setting up PayPal right now

Ok it’s all set to go with Paypal

  • Thanks colorsinspace!
I'm not getting the Paypal option showing up (I'm in the U.S.). Maybe it takes a little while? I'll check back.

  • Great sounds man!
You always inspire me to pull out the op1f and do some sound design.
Hope your back repairs soon brother!
I’ll have to grab these sounds soon!

Hey thanks. I’ve been doing some back exercises that I found on YouTube and believe it or not it’s actually working!

  • Here is a free version of my newest sound pack. It has about 25 patches. Enjoy!

Is there an iOS app that’s really good for playing these type of Op-1 ‘chains’? I was thinking Neon Audio Editor or Segments. Something with efficient slicing?

    Lovely sound design btw

Thx. Actually I was wondering the same thing.

  • I still can't see a Paypal option (I don't expect you to track this down for one sale) but I thought I'd let you know.

It’s showing that my PayPal is connected with Gumroad. To be honest, this is one of the reasons why I’ve stopped using PayPal. I’ve always had issues with them.

PayPal is now telling me to sign up when I tried to login. This is why I hate PayPal sorry man I can’t deal with them anymore.
