edited September 28 in General App Discussion

Ridgewalk & Weeping Wall have just gone on sale. What are owner views 6 and 2 months on from release?

  • I’m all about sequencing and layering sequencers and I love sequencers like SnakeBud, GLITCH STEP, weeping wall.

Would grab them both at this price. Weeping wall and ridgewalk

  • Hey! Dev here. I'm a vendor at an in-person trade show this weekend, so I made this sale for the weekend. I have no ability to make a discount code on the iOS App Store for handing out, so I had to completely discount the app temporarily. Given that this is really a discount offered for an in-person event, I believe it's only available in the USA. Sorry for any confusion! Just wanted to add some context.

I can see that now. Thanks for clarifying. Lucky US customers!

Very lucky - I was going to grab Weeping Wall, since I already have Ridgewalk and the bundle only knocks off £1!

It takes a bit of practice, but I’m enjoying Ridgewalk, it’s certainly a unique app.

  • Ahhh you know what, I've just made the sale global rather than USA-only. Not sure how long it'll take to take effect in the App Store but, enjoy everyone!

    What a gentleman 👏

  • Picked them both up. 👌

Ah lovely, thank you - purchased!

  • I thought it was for the weekend?

  • Ridgewalk is awesome, it's definitely worth buying.

  • Still full price here...

They’re both great - there’s a bit of Chase Bliss Habit/Blooper pedals going on there, particularly when combining the two.

Definitely. I find I use Ridgewalk more, but Weeping Wall can do wonderful things.

If you’re on the fence, I’d say the sale price should tip you over into a purchase.

I just went to get them both and they’re back to full price (?)
It’s only early Sunday afternoon here….

I bought Ridgewalk on release - I thought it might be a bit too close to Spacecraft, but being able to automate exploration of the whole loop and multiple layers, definitely adds something extra to my experimental music making. Enjoying Weeping Wall too - the way you can build up layers of loops without having to turn on or off recording, frees me up to concentrate on the playing.

Time-stretching would be nice to have - so pitch-shifting kept audio in tempo (Salome would benefit from this too), maybe a speed as well as shift control might work?

No biggie - it’s a damn sight cheaper than a Chase Bliss pedal!

I am, they've gone back to full price, got them last night on sale....got sooooooo many apps on sale that I never use but couldn't resist because...its a sale...!!! I think I'll def use wailing wall, not so sure on ridge walk. I do think I'd save money and get more music made if I restricted myself to buying only apps that meet a present need and that I will fully learn and utilise before getting more apps with a similar function. :-/

What's that, did some one say... Woodverberator ... erm.... got to go ... :-)

Ah, ok. Not a weekend sale at all then…😕

  • Sorry all, I just updated the discount to run through the weekend properly. I have to admit the App Store is still a bit of a mystery to me :D

  • The discounts just appeared here in the last hour or so.

    1am Monday morning here.

Wonder how long they will last now the weekend is over.

Yes, on sale here now too.

Anyone know if Ridgewalk has midi learn?
I like the idea of importing some audio, and then tweaking the various params with my Midi Fighter Twister, rather than looking at a screen the whole time

    @aqeelaadam

It certainly exposes params to hosts (AUM, at least), so you should be able to map them via the host if it doesn’t have direct mapping.

That explains it. Hope the trade show goes well, thanks for the discount. Cheers!

  • The bundle isn’t on the US App Store at the moment.

  • 8 hours since it began and the sale has ended. That didn't last long...
