Fugue machine inside Drambo

Any idea why Fugue Machine shows up as a midi processor and not a midi generator inside Dramo? It works as a processor but there’s no way to load or save presets- the piano roll has to be generated from scratch every time.

  • I'm confused by your question. Where is the distinction between a MIDI Processor and MIDI Generator in Drambo? Drambo has only Generators, Processors, and MIDI plugin categories. Are you expecting it to show under Generators with the rest of the audio plugins? It produces no audio, so it wouldn't appear there.

OK, now that I think about it, I maybe the confusion is because the standalone app does have a sound generator. The sound generator isn't included in in the AUv3 plugin. It only produces MIDI, so won't show up as a Generator.

As for the presets, Fugue Machine is one of those relatively rare apps that don't provide their own preset system, instead relying on the host for that. However, you can save a preset that will restore the piano roll in Drambo's preset system. Just tap on the header of the module, then Presets, then Save, and give the preset a name. After that, to add the preset to a project, in the library, go to MIDI > Audio Unit MIDI processor > Presets Tab to find the preset and add it to the track.
