I want to make an album…….
Hey everybody!! I might not be very active here but I would like to share with you all. Life has been tossing me back and forth (literally). Still, things aren’t as I want them to be; there’s still something in me that needs to be expressed. I thought back to the music I made in the early 90’s and was taken by the gritty, straight out of the basement feel of that era. I figured creating an album or at least attempt to recreate that sound would be a great push in the right direction. Pretty soon I will be posting snippets and clips which are open for critiquing.. Thank you for taking the time to read this. And I also would like to thank everyone for sharing awesome music and information. Below is a promo ad I created this morning. The instrumental was put together least minute to give life to the video edit (simple drum break and some random samples from YouTube. The initial animation was created in Procreate and finished in LumaFusion.. Honestly, I wish this technology existed back then. On the other hand, I don’t. Lol

Nice vibe, good luck with your production!
Thank you @JustinOllman
Whatever your lot in life, my only advice would be try to enjoy the journey. I’ve been trying to make something I consider completed since I started back in the Eighties. Eventually I realised I was pushing something that was not me. Then I relaxed and started to enjoy the process of making music and now I am actually finishing some tracks and when I get the art together I will finally finish an album!
Realising I needed to enjoy the journey and concentrate less on trying to make an end result was freeing for myself. Now I actually enjoy making music for myself and some people seem to appreciate it too, which is a bonus.
I’m not preaching. Just sharing my story in case it has anything that may help yours.
Enjoy the music you make.
Thank you @Fruitbat1919
The journey shall be enjoyed to the fullest.
I like the aesthetic. More please.
