Xinematix Issues

Hi folks …

I’ll be contacting the dev about this but wondered if anyone else has encountered these issues or found workarounds:

  • MIDI mapped Xinematix controls in AUM do not work e.g. “Rainbow slider” (see below)
  • Regular crashes in standalone and AUM when changing patches
  • Inbuilt reverb doesn’t work or sounds scratchy
  • Sometimes, inbuilt filter, envelope and other controls seem to have no effect on the sound

I’m on an older iPad Pro 2017 with iOs 17.6.1 … I guess it may be partly down to limited memory?

Moving the rotary control shown has no effect on the Rainbow Slider …

    I use it in Audiobus and Cubasis and I have the same problems

    If you point say an LFO directly at XinematiX rather than assigning it as a midi controller then CC13 drives the rainbow and CC17 the ‘White’ Level. Not sure about other CCs. Not sure if that help ?

    Ok thanks … so it is responding to something … i’ll try some other settings in AUM to see if I can get it working, maybe a different MIDI channel.

    Thank you for restarting with this issue, 🤗 because @GeoTony forced me to take a little more time, and I found a secretly hidden long tap button for a crucial option that should be listed in the settings menu. And there is no darn help “?” in AUv3.

    Anyone having samples not playing?
    I have the entire catalogue and some choir patches are not sounding but showing as downloaded.
    Others are playing but showing as not downloaded.
    Initally had the demo samples on iPad but downloaded the kit onto my external Samsung.

    The dev @VirSyn is aware of these issues and is focused on getting them fixed as far as I know.
    I emailed them in regards to Xinematix and AudioLayer and it's not an easy fix.

    Agreed.
    It's an awesome range of sounds and the sound quality is very good as well.
    When the dev finishes ironing out the issues it's going to be even more fun.

    I did however re-install from scratch and to no avail.
    I think I'll manage in the meantime.
