Personally I’m mostly looking forward to Synthmaster v3 to iPad, and, the coming two upgrades to Logic Pro for iPad - one upgrade pretty soon and the second in late april 2025…

My hope for Logic Pros new features is maybe some new Session instrument like Session Guitar and maybe Session Woodwind?
Also, support for notations/score editing, and maybe support for importing Flac-files?

Great to hear that you’re excited for SynthMaster 3!
I’m also looking forward to updates for Logic Pro on iPad. Notation/score editing would be a great additional feature. I hope for a native file integration (e.g. loading samples from iCloud or other locations directly from within Logic Pro without using Slide Over or Stage Manager..). Also for Logic Pro, more sounds and a couple plugins that are currently missing in the iPad version.

Off topic but I’ve been waiting 9 months for the Riffler midi input update.

Isn’t it working properly at the moment?

GlitchStep is probably close to release, and it’s fun as heck!

I’m curious what it can do!

Speaking of OT updates to already existing apps, anyone have any ideas if Drambo / Loopy Pro are going to be releasing their next big update soon / by the end of the year?

Difficult to answer. It could be a yes or a no.

Hello everyone, And what do you want to see coming to iPad that’s currently not available? Let me know in the comments!

Just today on the forum the desktop app "reMidi" was mentioned that has unique midi functions as yet untapped on iOS.

    @jollyDodger said:
Being able to play back slices of midi (like chopping them up to pads) and changing transpose/speed/offset/slice/selection/loop/frezze of the midi-file notes or chords.

Also having library of thousands of open domain midi is also cool.

Would be great to have for iOS.

    Prob instant-buys for me:

    • Hainbach/Audio Thing collab
    • Lunar Landing (unless it's more than $15)
    • Frostbite 2

    Would be great 😊

    Hello everyone,

Quick update regarding new iOS apps that will release soon for iPad (some also for iPhone although my main focus is iPad):

-KV331Audio will release SynthMaster 3 for iOS (iPad) in Q1/Q2 2025.

Synthmaster 3 on iPad would be the very last choice because KV331 still haven’t fixed all the issues in both SM1&2 after all this time! They both sound brilliant but are completely unreliable when it comes to using MIDI Learn Parameters, the preset library is also a right pain to keep tidy!

Something BIG that I’ve missed mention as a wish for Logic Pro iPad upgrade: New User Interfaces to the stock synths, not the ugly generic UI we had been served for now!

Sculpture is fabulous, but on iPad it’s a real pain with lots and lots of scrolling up & down…

Also, time to give us an complete version of Alchemy synth - and the last wish, give us the big desktop Logic Sampler on iPad, not just Quick Sampler (pretty good, but not as the big one)…

  • Yet another app that I wish we could get from @sonosaurus - an upgrade (or new iteration for 15 bucks) to DrumJam, with AUv3 support…

As I remember mr Sono… mentioned earlier that it could happens, eventually…

  • I hope that LP4i users will one day have access to full functionality of the sampler and being able to import exs files directly from the iPad.

What it is or when it is?

I asked him if he was going to digitise his entire studio 'B' for us and he replied...
    "Not all of it."

That's all I have about it

  • Hainbach has just posted a teaser video on FB (so probably elsewhere too).

He says it’s out on Tuesday.

It looks a bit like a no input mixer. I hope I’m wrong on that, as it’d be a little disappointing unless it does something particularly interesting, given that we have Igor’s app already.
