Does anyone experience volumes spikes in AUM ?

I just can’t understand it, on most sessions it seems to happen. I suspect a conflict with koala set with multi outs since I use different channels to resample effects back to koala itself.

Anyone had this issue ?

That doesn't happen without an explainable cause. AUM simply doesn't do that on its own.

You're on the right track trying to narrow down the cause. The best route is to see if you can reliably replicate it. Maybe other's will have some ideas of what the cause could be. I've never experienced that. Occasionally I'll use a send and forget to set the FX on the send to 100% wet, or to mute the original channel, resulting in doubled up sound.

  • I have not noticed this. Where is the audio coming out? of the device speakers? Headphones? Monitors? Or BT/Regular speaker?

  • Also, what version of iOS are you on? Older versions can sometimes cause all kinds of weird issues.

  • Are you using an external midi interface mapped to AUM?
If a fader, rotary or encoder is malfunctioning for
whatever reason then it may send out extraneous midi signals
or using a third party which could be doing the same thing.
