Sequencer/drum sequencer that allows for unusual grids?
I can’t believe out of the billion I have I don’t have any drum machines or sequencers that will allow for things like 16T grid divisions… Not clock rates or speeds, not ratchets, etc. but just plain ol’ grid divisors like 16T, or 8d…
Ideas?

Just thinking out loud…
Could you workaround with Rozeta Rhythm?
Or Patterning?
.
Maybe Poly2 is worth a look? Not grid based, but very flexible. It can play samples internally, but it can also send MIDI out.
Xequence supports 1/64 1/32 1/16 1/8 1/4 1/2 grids, and each either straight, dotted or triplets. Also any time signature should be supported (only one globally per project).
Beat Scholar my friend. Coolest drum sequencer ever.

Both DrumComputer and Patterning 3 can do this. Both apps even allow you to set different grid divisions for the different tracks.
That’s probably the direction I’m going to go. Looks good. Thanks.
All the other ones are good/ok, but too “novel” for what I want/need right now.
DrumComputer can’t do it. Those are clock divisions/speed settings.
Maybe not exactly what you are looking for but along those lines DigiStix 2 lets you define drum beats as polyrhythms in divisions of 1/1, 1/2, 1/3, .. to 1/9 with knobs for each lane and the beats float across the 1/16 steps.
dRambo can now do sub divisions up to 1/64
including triplets, 1/8T,1/16T,1/32T.
the grid itself is still being improved upon.
AEMS will also go down to 1/64 + 1/8T, 1/16T
With the advantage that you can freely change the time sig between markers (add as many markers as you like)
At the risk of sounding like I'm plugging my own product, Hammerhead can have any sort of division and step number for each of its channels.
Nobody ever does that here! 😄 (it's totally valid -- life as an iOS developer is hard enough! 🥵)
I kinda figured that out, and while I do like a lot hammerhead has going for it, I find programming multibar patterns and variations a little tedious in the UI department. Personally the accordion layout is just wayyyy to fiddly for touch for me.
AEMS?

Facts is facts. Cheers.
NanoStudio 2 has a grid that goes from 2 Bars - 1/128th Notes, and has dotted and triplet options.
It’s really easy to flip back and forth between different divisions while programming a track.
