Going to LoopyPro?
I have not been on for a while and I note that the name is to change to Loopy Pro - will Loopy Pro now be considered as a MacOS universal app candidate?
Comments
The MacOS version is native to MacOS and will be a separate purchase as it requires rather considerable additional development.
Oh, I have zero issues with buying it again .... Just curious if it will, now that the whole Audiobus development is going elsewhere, become available for MacOS. Only Loopy HD is available and as I have been advised in this place, the two apps are different.
I am not sure that I understand. What do you mean only Loopy HD is available? Do you mean as universal?
The Audiobus app moving to a new developer has no impact on Loopy HD or Loopy Pro.
The AudioBus app developer is changing.
The Audiobus forum name is changing (I believe to the Loopy Pro Forum).
Loopy HD is no longer under development. If you’re saying it’s available on Apple Silicon based Macs, that’s news to me. Interesting if true. I don’t see it in the Mac App Store here but I only have an Intel based Mac.
Loopy Pro is unaffected by any of this. A native Mac app (Intel + Apple Silicon) is under development but there’s no projected release date at this time. That app will be a separate purchase.
Yep, HD is available on MacOS App Store. Loopy Pro is not

That's all I wanted to know, thanks
Fascinating. Thanks for the tip.
