Mastering project playing at slow speed

Hello,

I am new to Logic. I have a project with a single wave file that I want to master with the mastering assistant. I created this projet a couple days ago and opened it a couple times without problems.

I just opened it now and my wave file is playing at a slower speed. I have check the BPM and it is at the correct speed.

What could be wrong ?

  • Sample rate change?

Can I change that by accident? I am going to have to look at the manual.

  • Sorry, I shouldn't have commented. I know nothing about Logic Pro. It was just a wild-assed guess as mismatched sample rates can result in audio playing at the wrong speed / pitch.

I'm sure someone else who knows what they're talking about will show up.

The iPadOS sample rate can be set by the first app opened that uses audio. Other apps then follow that sample rate. So you could have accidentally altered the sample rate by the order of apps you opened.

I think you are right. I just made a test and it happened. Thank you for clearing that up.
