Something seasonal: a setting of HPL’s poem ‘Despair’

Just in time for my favourite season, the season of the witch, and Bradbury’s Dark Carnival, something wicked this way comes: a little setting of one of old HPL’s typically upbeat and cheery ditties.

I used Koala’s stem facility to split out the vocal from the original musical backing so I could replace it with my own, then pitch shifted the vocal and added some room ambience with TB Reverb in AUM to make it sound… more evil? . I was going to go my usual Elevenlabs route, but they seem to have paywalled me now, so this… Anyhoo:
