Zenbeat question ZR1 Drumsampler full 808,707 kits
Please be gentle with me as I'm a noob beginner.
So I just bought Zenbeats for Android only, love the program.
So when I downloaded the app it was fully functional but with limitations, example you had a lot of demo kits like for the 808, to use with the ZR1 Drum sequencer.
So when I bought the app, it came with the full kits of the 808, 707 and more jazz and 80s kits..so far loved it.
But now I'm playing with it, I just cannot figure out how to use the full drum kits (808,707, 80's kit, Jazz kit and all the others that came with the purchase, in the ZR1 Drum Sampler.
I can only see the demo versions of the 707,808 etc that were also available in the free version. I do see many other kits like Expander Kits, but I don't want those. Is there really no way to use the full kits I bought in the ZR1?! Or am I missing something?! And I want to use the ZR1 because it has a drum sequencer.
PS, even when I search through an empty pad for a sample of a full kit in the ZR1, I don't see them. So I don't even have a cowbell due to these demo versions, let alone the full kit. The demo version only has a few sounds. Not fun.
And now the funny thing, the full kits 707, 808 Jazz kit, 80;s kit etc I can see and select in the ZC1 Synth, but why only in the synth, it doesn't even have a drum sequencer, only a piano roll. And yeah I know I could use that, but the only thing I want Is to use the Drum sequencer to enjoy all the kits I bought.
So is there really no way to use the full kits I mentioned before with the ZR1 drum sequencer? And why doesn't the ZC1 have a drum sequencer if you can select drum kits for it?! Or does the ZC1 have a Drum sequencer that I just can't find! And why can't you access the full kits with the ZR1 Drum Machine?
Lots of questions for 1 problem.
I also watched many YouTube tuts, but they always play with the demo kits not the full ones.
I am so confused, I hope someone understands me and can explain what I am doing wrong. There has to be a way to access my jazz kit and 80s kit with the ZR1 right?? Wrong?? Please tell me...
Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure I understand. I don't remember there being any mention of full 808, etc kits being included when purchasing Zenbeats. As far as I remember, they were always additional purchases.
Was there some specific mention of the full kits being included when you purchased the app?
Sure, there are sample sets for the ZC1 synth but that's not the same thing as the ZR1 drum patch set. I can understand why you would think they're the same thing though.
The only way I can think of to use the drum sequencer with the ZC1 is to route midi from a sequencer track to it. I think I may have done that in the past, but it was more trouble than it was worth. You might have to purchase one of the add-on kits for a seamless experience.
No, ZC1 doesn't have a drum sequencer. That's not unusual. Lots of synths have drum sample sets but only a keyboard to play them with.
Maybe @MatthewAtZenbeats will see this and can give a better answer.
For the full versions of 808/707 kits, you can buy them. Go to the Store in Zenbeats and look for the Roland Drums Classics Collection 👍🏻. We continuously make new content for ZR1 and ZC1 and you can find them in the Store.
I would love to have a generic step sequencer mode for ZC1 but we currently do not have one. There is a workaround. Load up a ZR1 track, and go the routing menu and select Advanced MIDI Routing. There you can change the track output to ZC1 and the step sequencer will drive it. It's far from perfect, but it works
