Here we go again Mr Clickbait. Let’s be clear about this.
Are you trying to say you travelled back from a gig with this person? Or that you just volunteered at a place she was playing at, but travelled home independently?
Are you seriously positioning this as an AMA, trying to give the impression you conducted an AMA with the artist or, expecting people to ask you anything about ‘volunteering’ and annoying the paid staff? 🤣
You could try, Here’s a video of X. I have nothing to do with it but volunteered at a gig they did. But, truthfully I spent most of the time trying to get content and pretending. 🤣
Remember, your god is always watching and always listening.
Hey @Gsus, welcome back, grab a seat, I’m taking attendance ✍️
No, I literally wrote what I did. I was a volunteer. I forgot that you struggled with reading. Would you like to borrow my glasses? I have a second pair.
Why perform when I can get all the information by talking to everyone…from the singers, to the setup crew, managers, event coordinators, and more. Gigs like these are the best place to learn from people who have travelled all over the world.
The day before, I was a guitarist. Before that, I was a hype man. Some days we need a break, and I was more than happy volunteering for the people.
An unpaid gig is still a gig. People perform for exposure, I show up for opportunity to learn from the best of the best.
So, with this in mind, get your head in check, and proceed with care. With that attitude of yours, I’m surprised you were even able to type on the keyboard.
But come out of that cave you call a basement, breathe, get some Vitamin D from the sun. Maybe it’ll cure you from being a troll.
What are you talking about, nothing you say or type makes any sense 🤣 Read your own original post and the title! Use your brain and think about it.
Cool, thanks for stopping by. Have a great day 👋
Hardcore triggered...
Deep breaths...it'll be ok...
Just for the record 🤣
You forgot this part. Added it for you 👍
Yes! This Clickbait BS is everywhere. I’m sick of it. Still it’s always good to find the biggest offenders, block them, then call them out every time they do it!
Dude, its 2PM afternoon on your time, on a weekend, and you’re here raging on a thread. I’m sorry, what is your problem? Go outside, and take a breath. It’ll be okay.
@seonnthaproducer thank you for sharing, they were new to me.Cheers!
Oh good another AMA! 🤣

Clickbait, bullshi**ers like you 👍
Reminding civility and respect towards everyone you agree or disagree with
Be nice and have a great Sunday everyone
@Gsus, it’s easy on this forum to hide posts from people who post things you don’t want to see.
Too bad we can’t block threads…
if I could just filter out threads starting with ‘So, I’
Yeah except the thread and first post is always still shown. This person is a repeat offender with history yet still does it on here.
The video is actually from 5 years ago. Watch the actual instatoksnap bit when they're standing next to, very much outside of, the sound/lighting desk, it's hilarious 🤣
Not so much 'working with' as standing in the vicinity of.
It's just annoying and unnecessary, be real and truthful and hopefully, one day, you could be more involved. Just stop the BS for the gullible on social media and don't do it here.
So much venom on a Sunday… for a moment I thought I was on reddit!
I have a few questions:
1 - What’s your biggest musical takeaway from this experience?
2 - What’s your biggest non-musical takeaway from this experience?
3 - In what capacity did you volunteer?
4 - How was the spirit of cooperation amongst volunteers?
Wouldn’t that be something? 😆 I do hope M has plans to replace this ancient Vanilla software now we are in the new world.
Awesome. I can answer this.
That’s John from Bethel. Sadly, Jen had to leave as soon as the show was done.
I talked with the AV guys and learned a LOT. I also talked to the musicians and saw all their gears.
4. I actually worked with 4 volunteers in different ways but they were all pleasant. There was a lovely lady who helped sold merch, I helped another deliver fliers while I was at the front.
Overall, a positive experience.
I hear you man, definitely some people one here who only post on this forum when they want you to visit their channels. Easy to ignore though, and I think by now we all know who said folks are.
👍🤝 I just want them to stop, be better, learn, change, evolve. Especially when it’s almost guaranteed that their God was watching the gig 🤣
Thanks man. Glad I made the list.
EDIT: I really don’t care if anyone visits my channel. My goal is to share stories, and news, and create a platform for others to grow and challenge ideas.
I did something a lot of people wouldn’t have had the chance to do, and I’m here sharing my experiences. Subscriber numbers are just vanity. I’m already a successful engineer that I don’t need to do the YouTube thing. I do it because it’s fun, and I get to share my journey along the way.
And most of all, to meet up with cool people in real life. And this year has proved that it was worth it. A LOT.
Where was that? I’ve done sound with the Bethel people in NYC a few times, great people. Actually, they asked if I could do sound today but I have a few long corporate audio days starting tomorrow and did sound from 6:30-2 today, so I referred a friend to them and he’s doing it today.
Niagara-on-the lake, in Canada, yesterday.
Honestly, the crew was great. Had some trouble with the event coordinator, I think, maybe he was having a bad day or something…
But overall, great show,
Sorry, didn’t realize I didn’t reply to you. Yeah, it’s a great song that was introduced to me about a year and half ago. It’s been a source of encouragement to a lot of my friends.
LOL
