My wife suggested I make a gothic vampire movie for Halloween. So I did. The Vampire’s Handmaiden
My wife has been dealing with a lot lately and helping me make this video seemed to brighten her mood a bit.
It was good to have her input on one of my projects.
Music was created with Piano Motifs,Riffler, and ZOA using AudioLayer’s Virtual Orchestra, Cubasis HALion, Steel Guitar Pro, and the GeoShred Viola.
Hope your Halloween is a safe and fun one this year!

Holy cow, this is great. The age of the one-person movie studio is coming soon... and you're right there on the forefront.
By the way, I recommend giving Udio a shot at creating some musical themes for these productions. I'd like to see what you are able to do with it also. I think it should be possible in 4-6 months to feed video to these generative music sites, set up some musical cues and timing notes and then let them go to work. Now that the big players are getting involved (James Cameron and the studios now), things will only accelerate.
Thanks @NeuM
I thought about using Udio for this. I'm still not at a place where I'm happy with my musical output but I thought I should at least try if I was going to post it here on the Forum.
Vidu is getting better as far as character consistency and they are adding new tools regularly so I expect it will keep improving. Runway seems to be the most advanced option but is a bit outside my price range.
It would be interesting to have a music generator that could make music based off the video input and I expect you are right that it will eventually be something available. I do prefer to use music made by friends here, but for those times when they are busy with other projects it would be useful.
Incidentally, here's a YouTuber who's doing some pretty cool stuff with generative video also. Might be someone you'd want to check out: https://www.youtube.com/@SynthSaga
I'll check it out. Always interested in seeing what other people are putting out there. Thanks for the recommendation.
Love the film grading on this, really adds to the vintage effect. And the subject leans into the sometimes dreamlike, weightless movement of characters in AI video nicely. It looks so much like a recoloured silent movie classic, I almost expected to see intertitles
Thanks @Svetlovska ,
I layered 4 different old film effects on a single layer and made it look utterly destroyed and exported it out. Layered that on top of a pristine layer and played with the opacity until I was happy with the results.
Glad it worked.
Thanks for watching!
