Depends on how you look at it

Better take my trade in for $250 now

—- and the one to watch is the new snapdragon arm, might actually besy the m series which I can’t believe

    (Edit
I initiated the trade in. I can get may be $350 in cash but I rather not go through the trouble , plus it’s in house so it’s just right there…. So I loss $100 but I mean that’s just saving time and inconvenience of Craigslist trouble makers and scammers )

I'm with you on this one. Just turned in my old iPhone and got a new iPhone 16. Got $150 for the trade-in and the reduced hassle was absolutely worth it for me.

Yeh, I gotta say I'm very, very tempted. Having to deal with a monitor and the extra cabling in my most frequent workspace, the dining room table, is the only thing holding me back. I'd probably end up using the trusty ol' 2015 MacBook Pro most times anyway.

You could always operate it headless and keep using the MacBook Pro as your primary / portable interface… :)

I'm leaning towards one of these portable monitors, along with 2.4Ghz wireless Mouse/Keyboard. You can make this setup incredibly travel friendly.

That video illustrates it's a waste of time trying to update something like a Mac mini instead of simply ordering the device with as much storage and memory as you can afford. That's standard procedure for Apple devices. Just get the best bang for your buck when you get it.
