Sending midi CC from loopy to an auv3 in Logic?
Hi guys, does anyone know if this is possible and how it's done? I've tried inserting loopy as a midi object and making a widget to send a cc but it refuses to get midi learned to anything. Placing a midi monitor in front of it shows that no cc messages are leaving loopy.

It would probably help to post screenshots taken on the iPad showing all aspects of the Logic setup and also the setup of the widget that sends the MIDI.
Hey, so my loopy trial just ran out so I’ll post someone else’s pic of the exact settings i used. As well as all the logic midi settings
So while on the topic. I tried loopy in beatmaker 3, it midi maps fine there but so long as the loopy plugin is on no notes are passing through to the synth (playing the piano roll or a midi controller does not trigger the synth). Is there some setting to allow notes to pass through?
In cubasis it happens too, but when you turn off the loopy plugin you can still use it to control a synth and play the synth with a keyboard even if loopy is off. Problem is I really dislike using cubasis so I prefer using logic and if that doesn't work then beatmaker 3
You would need to route the input to the output. Most (though not all) MIDI Plugins don’t pass the input through. In loopy pro, you would send the input to the output by adding a midi channel to the loopy mixer and choose MIDI IN as the source. Tap on the destination slot and choose MIDI Out as the destination.
That did the trick. Thank you. Tried it in logic too, still crashes the moment I touch the piano roll. And weirdly I noticed if I have a second DAW open in the background on my ipad and then close that DAW loopy in logic crashes. 🤷
Does your project in Logic have any midi bindings?
