Trying my best writing in my iPad haha

Im trying to récord a pad in Loopy Pro for the 4 track challenge buttttt im having some troubleshooting and glitchy sounds from Loopy Pro and also, even tho i set my loops to X bars, i get a tail from the pad at the beginning of the loop and idk really whats happening

Ipad 9th, iOS 17.6.1

I upload a video too in my Drive. Btw, how can i upload videos to the forum?

    The file doesn't have public permissions. Typically, to post video here one uploads to YouTube as unlisted and pastes a link here.

    Does your video show all the relevant Loopy and AUM settings? If your ate getting a tail that you don't want, make sure that tail recording is turned off in Loopy Pro.

    It is a little hard to follow exactly what is happening. Tail recording is on in the video.

    How are you triggering the recording?

    Im using ChordBud 2 to trigger Sunrizer with some Pads.

    In Loopy Pro i set the donut with X bars lenght, and the recording trigger with threshold audio to start recording.

    I did a 2nd video here showing all the setup and the hit that got record at the beginning of the loop

    @raimundoarriagada : I haven't had a chance to watch the video as I have pretty spotty internet right now. Can you explain what you want to happen with the recording? When do you want it to start and stop? What length should it be?

    No worries, thanks :)

    Basically. I want to record a Loop with the loop chords that I made In ChordBud2. (that number of bars, or maybe duplicated amount of bars)

    After the loop ends recording, there's a tail recorded at the beginning of the loop which makes the loop not "perfect" because you have this sound at the beginning. Which if I move the start point can work, BUT it will not be a X "amount of bars" loop anymore, so no perfect loop.

    Are you positive that “Record Tail” is off?
    Even if you do record it, you can turn off “play outro in loop”.

    Also, there’s a “Loop Boundary Crossfade” option that has caught me out before. That may be a beta test feature though, I’m not sure.

    @raimundoarriagada : If you have audio threshold recording on, the recording is probably not starting at the start of the measure and so what is happening is that it starts a little after the start of the measure and wraps around...which means the tail is being captured and appearing at the loop start.

    You probably should turn off threshold recording for this use-case and and set the recording count-in to either master or custom 1 bar to assure that the recording starts at the beginning of the measure.

    Also, you don’t need pad loop length on.

    Also, if you turn on Wait For Playback, you can arm the clip to record and recording will start when the transport does.

    NOW it works.... i guess it was the Threshold trigger (which is my favorite by far) but now I know that I need to config one color for Count In and record some Pads.
