Comments
Interesting, does it support other waveforms and does it support dx7 sysex?
Sounds nice. Ryo supporting MIDI 2.0 so much might get me to buy a new keyboard. :P
Looks interesting! An comparison to Nambu would be great.
Congratulation! 🤩 Finally FM synth from master Ryo!
Sound is fantastic, but on the first look, the color for differentiation from carrier and modulator is unrecognizable. And the algorithm diagram window is too small.
The controls and labelling are very small as a AU @Samu would give the thumbs down 👎 sounds good maybe worth £5.99 but not £14.99 after the sale. If you got Nambu you sorted as this doesn’t bring anything new.
Well yeah, I'm kinda picky when it comes to UI and be totally honest both KQ Dixie and FM7 in TeraPro cover my FM needs more than well already
Should I need more specialized FM sounds I can rig something up in Drambo or SunVox (FM 2OP and FMX 5OP modules) etc.
I already have VAPoly16 (which I like) and this doesn’t look or sound radically different from the video. Is it?
to be honest, ive got to stop buying these apps. i probably only get them as they are 5.99. they sound pretty good, but the UIs are a little awkward imo. thats it no more!
For the love of God, why doesn’t this developer throw some preset surfing vids around. You get barely an idea what it sounds like.
Lil demo
You can control each control where appropriate by the large slider in the tool bar so that’s a bonus.
VA and Fm ...just great! His plugins rock!!
Also the AU are total Mac silicon compatible which I like
I’ve said more or less the same thing. A short video does absolutely nothing for a developer. All of the functions should be demonstrated and if English is not their native language or they are embarrassed to record their own voice, just type some characters onscreen instead, but people want to know what they’re getting in exchange for their money.
There's a pretty well written manual on the developers homepage describing every aspect of the app...

Wow, this thing is a resource hog.
Couldn't believe my eyes but tested it by replacing it with many high cpu synths.
78-82% in AUM on my "old" 3rd gen iPad Pro with A12X . It even gets warm fast.
Single instance, default patch, no extra effects.
Mariana is a heavy one and it stays at about 30%. Others are well below.
I hope this is a bug, because by itself I like it.
Has anyone else noticed this?

Intel Macs for his apps too, and you can share patches back and forth with IOS through iCloud, which is handy
Can not make it work in Nanostudio 2 / Update: started working after a while. Really nice Synth 😎
Yeah, noticing same. I'm on same model. Seems like a bug to me as well. I hope it's resolved because it sounds great. Would be great if you could turn off the synth you're not using
The app has crazy high CPU usage
Even on M1 IT maxes out the CPU starts to crackle and crashes after only loading microwave and itself in Nanostudio 2.
Developer please fix this!
