Just a dream, sort of mellow jungle, 100% koala sampler.
Made this in a sort of creative fury, with a stinking cold and headache, I’m not used to using the koala sequencer, or chopping breaks, but I thought I’d give this a go. I was going for a nostalgic vibe, and used a couple of well known samples, as well as playing some bits. it’s sort of a nod to the past, for what it’s worth.

That's extremely well done. Really love this ! More more more please !
Great stuff!
Nice atmospheric Jungle. I love that era. I did enjoy the pads. The breaks were chopped tastefully. Thanks for the inspiration that I’ll use to complete some stuffs.
Totally digging this, nicely done!
That's really kind of you!!! Thank you!! I'm a big fan of the old school but was always too scared to try it out
Thank you!!
Thank you! I really love that era too! There's something about breakbeats and pads that just does it for me!! Thanks for the comments and be sure to post yiue stuff I'd love to hear it!
Thanks so much dude! I'm glad you like it!!
For having 'a go' you've done the genre proud. My only gripe is the wonky Vibroflange (Koala Sampler reference) effect on the pads.
But the vibe is very 90s 🙏
this is fucking sick. I'd love to see the files/chops behind this on Koala.
Thank you!!! I must admit I am a big fan of the “warble” effect and use it on everything… it might just be a phase…. But thanks!!!
Thank you!!! I’ll upload the song files
Here you go, it’s quite basic I think. And a bit messy.

Hey, sorry to hear you’re feeling poorly. You are a better person than me. When I feel rough I just want to feel sorry for myself, eat chicken soup and watch trash tv. You actually got something positive out of it.
I’ve always loved that busy, textural use of jungle style drums, c. Roni Size ‘New Forms’:
It seemed that for a while, that style was indeed going to take EDM into new forms, an intriguing mashup up of jazz and dance. Not sure the promise was fulfilled, but it was definitely interesting there for a while.
Your whole piece gives me nostalgic vibes for that era. The trumpet is fab . And is that a shakahuchi in there too? Makes me think of my old Roland MT32 module. (Never should have got rid of that one.)
What visualizer did you use for the vid?
Thanks so much!! I agree, it was a brave new world, but then maybe we weren’t ready for the vibes. I’m sure there’s a small pocket of people somewhere keeping the dream alive!!
I thought Shakahuchi was eggs cooked in tomato sauce! But looking online, yes I think you’re right!! It’s one of those!
Visuals are cheap… just some stock footage from the Riveo app. Would love to have an app that could generate stuff like that.
@Svetlovska , i remember you mentioned New Forms to me a while back. When i had gone to check it out –thinking i was going to be listening for the first time– i was delighted to discover it was an album i had owned but lost in a flood back in the aughts.
That rediscovery really made my day (and continues to do so) cause “Hot Stuff” was my favorite track on that great album. But as the years went on i could never find it online wherever a wanting for it arose, cause i couldn’t remember who wrote it. So thank you!
Me too! I had Grooverider’s “Mysteries of Funk” on heavy rotation, along with other tech-steppy stuff, only to get ripped to shreds by my peers. Also, once or twice when a DJ played something with an Amen at a club, the floor cleared and i’d be the only one left dancing. I loved it! It felt natural. Only at the time, i wasn’t aware it was Jungle, and what i was doing on the floor was “footwork”. Again, I’d be ridiculed by peers after we left. Comments eluding to crack. Probably a product of growing up in the states, lol
Has a cold, still gets creative urges then Proceeds to eviscerate the koala sequencer 🤯
Crushed it, really enjoyed this. Sorry you're not feeling well. Hope it passes soon! 🙏🏽
Really nice track. Especially like when the drums came in and the little trumpet bits. Lots of variety that holds my attention. Wondering what comes next. Hope you’re feeling better.
