Hi everyone,
The original app, Tube Audio Unit, was developed back in 2018, so it's gotten a bit outdated. It’s also developed some bugs. So, I decided to rebuild the core from scratch. After several months of testing, I believe the new core is stable, and I’m excited to release it!

Who is to say that YT won't block this app again? It happened to Web Audio Player as well
I would def love to support this dev via tips or something but the last time i bought it, it worked for 3 days and i only got to test it out for like 20 minutes
Yeah, instead of a fixed price I could see this working with a low cost subscription encouraging the dev to adapt to youtube changes. Kind of a Cat & Mouse Audio Unit

Any app which tries to exploit YouTube for streaming will soon be disabled by them. Google does not want anyone else streaming their hosted content.
True, by exploit, I'd precise they don't want your app to block their revenue, tracking + ads (if the user account isn't premium).
There are a few open source apps that do this on android, they're kinda solid, but it's always the game of cat & mouse.
Maybe that apps that are compliant get often broken as collateral damage of this fight ?
Yah this is a niche of a niche of a niche and I imagine certainly more than worth it for some folks. For me it would be a bit of a novelty given that screen capture of video / converting in Audioshare is a solid workaround that doesn't seem to be going anywhere, unless Apple and YT decide to disable it like Netflix etc.
I used the old one for singing karaoke ,that was fun ,I would set up in AUM and record my performance 😁🤣
Same. I'd add autotune and fully mess around with melody lines and improvising over random beats too.
