Takeamidi and AUM - any issues?
Anyone else having trouble with Takeamidi loading in AUM? It was working fine for me until just recently. I upgraded to iOS 18.1. It crashes when loading as a MIDI instrument. Other apps by the same developer work fine (midifruze, mididelay).
iOS 18.1
AUM 1.4.5
takeamidi 1.02
iPad Pro M1 3rd Gen 11 inch
I've reinstalled the app and rebooted the iPad. No luck.
Edit: Here's the error detail from my iPhone 15 on iOS 17.6.1, where it is also crashing on load.

Unfortunately the updated versions have to drop support for iOS versions less than 15
That's all good but while I have you: have you given up on rrarrow? It works but has a few bugs like changing stuff only work once (for me at least). It's such an awesome noise machine it would be a ssad dday if you say it's not ggetting any more love.
Considering how loyal I am to your releases @a_n - you could at least acknowledge my existence. You know I've emailed you as well a couple of times regarding rrarrow, with no answer. Just let me know and I climb down from your (I'm sure, busy) back, and out of view as well, if you like.

EdZab, the testflight version of TaM works fine in AUM.
Hey @a_n the text boxes representing CC numbers are to small and they do not scale on zoom either, with the rest of the seq.

It may have to do with screen size. My device is iPad Air 11" M2, iPadOS 26.1. When opened stand-alone, takeamidi crashes with SIGABRT from the system library (abort() called). Opened as AUv3 in AUM, it crashes with SIGSEGV (bad address). These are essentially immediate, and might be related to creating the screen graphics. This has always been a problem for this device, which came with iPadOS 18, and I assumed it was the OS version. But others have reported that takeamidi is fine for them, so I suspect it may be the 11" screen size. It works fine on my 9.7" iPad 6 with iPadOS 17.7.10. Note that the 10.5" and 11" devices have an unusual shape; they are wider than other conventional iPads.
@a_n, I can provide crash logs if needed.
@uncledave - I should have posted an update to this thread. The problem stopped a few days after the original post. I had emailed the developer to let him know about the issue. I have had zero problems with the app since that time. I should also mention I exchanged an email with the developer a couple of weeks ago, and he replied that he's planning to update some of the MIDI apps.
Ah. That would be using the testflight version, which I just picked up. It loads correctly in both modes. I guess the dev has not yet released the update to the AppStore, despite it being over a year.
@uncledave - I'm not sure what's going on, but the app store version started working for me shortly after I contacted the dev (at the time of the original post), although I did have the Testflight version installed for a bit about a year ago, and I've tried the latest Testflight versions as they came out, but I've been using the app store version for months and had no issues at all on any of my devices. I'm not saying anything about what issues you're seeing with the app, or anyone else - I just want to be clear my experience has been consistently solid.
