Mozaic - Cannot share .mozaic script with app
i stumbled across this new behavior in with mozaic. usually scripts open in mozaic as soon i tab a script file in files. but this is not working anymore. mozaic is even not shoing up in the share sheet.
can anyone confirm?

Here’s my observation:
Make sure Mozaic is not running.
Download file.
In Files, click on file.
When “loaded”, hit share, and Mozaic shows in share options.
Hit the Mozaic icon, Mozaic launches.
New preset is now available in Load menu.
unfortunately this is nit working for me hence mozaic cannot be found in the share options.
i would rather not delete and reinstall mozaic because it would delete my already importet scripts as well.
Still working for me (sharing), on iPadOS 17.7.1. What is your iOS version?
Have you tried restarting your device? That may help rebuild the databases that define these features.
If you open Mozaic stand-alone, you can Backup Presets, which will create a zip file that you can restore later. You could use this if you decide to re-install the app.
If i double tap .mozaic (binary patch files) in the Files app on my ipad, the app only shows the name and size - Mozaic isn‘t opened (and i don‘t remembet that ever happened). I used to install them via the share sheet.
Some (a minority) of the Mozaic scripts shared on patchstore are ascii files instead of binary patch files - ie a textfile still having the extension .mozaic. I ran into problems installing these - i had to change extension. I use .moz and manage/open these in Textastic, copy the full text and the insert it into Mozaics editor)
When you open the share popup there’s a “three dot” thing at the far right that allows you to edit the available options. Can you add Mozaic there?

Have you confirmed that Mozaic hasn’t been offloaded?
On the share sheet have you tapped More to see if it is listed there?
did a reboot. no luck.

mozaic also not showing up in the three dotted menu where one can choose from more apps.
i'm afraid i have to go with the reinstall then.

wonder if a reinstall would mess with my aum presets for mozaic too
