Krishnamurti Speaks
I’ve read Ks stuff since my 20s. lol, I think I understand it better more than a half century later. (“grok it” is better,, of course, because it is much more a thoughtless understanding). I think all the improvisation has led me to a place where I get, a little, wtf he’s saying… and says in such a drawn out, brilliant, and novel way.
K didn’t think himself a guru or even a teacher. He abominated ideas of thought and faith leaders and their “gods”. Still, he was in touch with the sacred, IMHO. He was the child prodigy of the Theosophical Society till one day he, pretty much, told everyone to fuck off and left… for the very reason that they had come to idolize him.
The two white guys he’s confounding and stringing along is a fantastic counterpoint to Ks certainly.
Still, they arrive in a somewhat similar place. Watching this takes some patience, but you might find it very worth it.

I love how he doesn’t simply expound and tell you something abstract… but he sort of guides you until you discover the truth on your own.
I have his audiobook of Freedom from the Known, that I listen to just about every time I’m alone walking in the desert.
Of course that’s the difference between possessing knowledge and knowing.
Here’s a good bio of what he did…
If you think he’s interesting you should read
UG Krishnamurti - he doesn’t pull punches on the reality of the process of enlightenment is like in the modern age (as he experienced it at least; it’ll be different for everyone )
