WI Guitar Audiobus info

I asked WI Guitar support if they are ever going to add Audiobus to WI Guitar. Here is there reply.

We have had plans to add Audiobus for a long time, but it's looking
more and more as if we're going that route we would have to do it as
brand new apps in the future. There are just too many things that have
changed with Apple's development tools since we released our apps, the
migration of our existing apps would be too extensive and too much of
a liability for the existing user base. We were very early in this
game and built our apps to have backwards compatibility even with the
first generation iPhone, something considered quite absurd now but a
necessity back then.

We're not ruling out making new apps in the future, and there are a
lot of things we'd like to improve if we did that now that we have
more CPU power and memory, for example making the sound quality
better, as we had to do a ton of compromises here. Sadly, we've never
seen any considerable revenues from the App Store, which is why we've
had to focus on our main platforms (Mac & PC) the last few years. Even
though our apps are quite popular and still stand strong by finding
new users every day, revenues from music apps such as our's is quite
modest. So it basically comes down to business, but we'd like to do
more and better stuff for iOS if time and budgets allow in the future.

Arne,
