Sunrizer synth -saving user presets?

All I can find is creating a new bank, not actually saving a user preset...is there a trick to this?

Comments

  • Try creating your own Bank first. Then create or modify a patch. Then Select your own Bank and save your patch. That worked for me.

Thanks ...yeah I read the manual...but it keeps asking me to save a new bank, and even when I get to that bank it has NO saving mechanism for the new sound top go INTO my new bank??

Are there better iOS synths with a much less convoluted saving regime? Or even where I can over-write existing presets.

    Synthmaster is the same!

Zeeon is a slightly newer synth from beepstreet. It has a really simple protocol. While viewing a bank, hit Save, enter a name, done.

Just checked and it's actually the same in Sunrizer. Create a bank. Open the bank. Then use the Save Preset button to save the preset. There is no save option until you've selected the bank to use. Don't you see this when viewing your new bank?

Maybe you could post a screenshot where you’re getting hung up, because the process seemed very straightforward when I did it. That’s not to say the same is true on your side, of course. Sometimes a hard shutdown and restart of one’s iOS/iPadOS device will set things right.

no, tbh....I'll delete the app and reinstall and see if it does something.

Hmmm. That's odd. Wonder if it's a device/OS problem? I'm on iPad 6, iPadOS 17.7.1. There might be a GUI problem with newer screens or iOS 18.

I just opened in standalone and saved a preset in my own bank.

On screen shot, just open the bank you want, hit save preset. You type in the name, or change name and tap done at top right of window to complete the save.

Worked in Au too, the last two were the ones I just saved as a test to help. I’m on iPad 6 as well.

Thanks, but it's not my problem. The OP says he doesn't see our screenshots.

It's iOS 18.x iPad pro 12....I did the reinstall, and that save box now appears...I will follow the steps you and the others pointed out, now it seems like I can actually do it.
