Loopy Pro site feedback?
I could find no active threads for site comments (maybe that’s just due to the current site search issues), but I noticed that tapping on one’s own “Comments” in your profile no longer links to the thread in which you made said comment. Same goes for everyone else’s Profile > Comments.
I thought surely someone else had noticed this and reported it to a mod or to @Michael …
Comments
That’s actually been down for a while from my own observation. I don’t know if it was to do with host but I think it’s maybe a glitch with Vanilla (a template used for the forum), but I’ll ask to see if there is an update perhaps that fixed it.
Thanks!

That’s still not working for me, for whatever reason. Anyone else having the same issue?
Can you provide a screen shot? I must not be looking in the same place.
@wim : it looks like it might be an issue reading the forum on the phone rather than the iPad. It works for me from my iPad but not my phone.
Steps:
On my phone, tapping on the date or title of a post does nothing. Phone orientation seems not to matter
On my iPad, tapping in those places takes me to the post.
Thanks @espiegel123 - that narrows it down perfectly and saved me time. @yellow_eyez PM'd that it happens on his Mini, so it may not work from all iPads.
It's possible that it's correctable with a stylesheet modification having to do with adjustment for different screen sizes. If so than it may be something Michael may be able to fairly easily address.
Otherwise it's a Vanilla Forum thing and, knowing how problematic forum upgrades have been ... 😬
Anyway, I'll see if I can determine if it's just something that needs to be adjusted in the CSS, and if so, which CSS it is.
Yes, it's definitely a screen width CSS condition. I can reproduce by adjusting the browser width in Safari on the Mac. I'll report to Michael when I've narrowed down where the change can be made.
[edit] found it.
Excellent sleuthing, Wim!
We’re on it @NeuM
Well leave no stone unturned!
After switching to the forum.loopypro.com domain, the search function began to behave strangely. Topics by keywords are often not found.
For example, recently there was a topic about Axon 3
https://forum.loopypro.com/discussion/59805/audio-damage-axon-3-released
and it cannot be found by searching for the keywords "axon 3".
Yes, I’ve experienced this too. A search for Melovox only came back with one result for the older Vocal Soloist app by Paul.
I can +1 the search issues. I tried searching for my own tracks in the Creations section. Nada. I’m trying not to take it as editorial comment
My theory is the web crawler bots just have some catching up to do. Even though a domain change that is registered with Google should take care of such things, it doesn’t look as though it’s very effective.
It may help to do a regular Google search and append
site:forum.audiob.us
after the search term. That’s all the old search did anyway. The only thing that has changed about the search function is that it now appends
site:https://forum.loopypro.com/
instead. Thanks @wim. Editing domain in the search query helped.
hi @neum - Michael fixed the links to comments in profiles on narrow screens. Tapping the date or the time at the end of the comment summary should now work as expected. ✅
Excellent. Thank you (and Micheal) so much.
Another site related thing which I’m sure I’ve seen others mention in the past…every now and again i seem to get randomly signed out. No idea why, i haven’t changed anything in the browser which could cause it.
This happened back in Audiobus Forum days as well.
