The strange story of Amidio...
Remember Amidio? Last we heard, they were working on the 'Drumfire' drum app and 'Cycloop' DAW.
I decided to look them up and discovered something odd. It seems that OMGGuitar, Futalele, Mint.io are now registered to one Eric Elfner. Pearl Guitar is now registered separately under the catch-all 'App Holdings'. Seline HD is gone from the app store.
As far as Amidio themselves, they seem to have disappeared entirely, their website now redirecting to Eric Elfners page (zcage.com).
I'm assuming they have packed it in... anyone have any more info on this?

New videos and an update coming apparently
I'm guessing they've sold the code for some of their apps to this 'Eric Elfner' who is now maintaining them?
Its probably good news for is, maybe the apps will get some attention now. And we may even see Cycloop and Drumfire
Well, Seline HD is my son's favourite, despite the fact downloading the extra packs can be painful. And takes a lot of HD space.
Depending on the day, I'm going to delete it or not (a lot of amazing controllers right now).
The AMIDIO tweet account started sounding the other week, something about MINT.io. Perhaps the company name is under a new owner as well. Pearl guitar got an update on the regular Amidio AppStore account few weeks ago, after it had shown up as a new app under App Holdings. So not sure what's going on with that one rly.
I Really like mint.io, hope we get some updates.

It just did! There's a surprise.
MINT.io was updated today with "Audiobus 2, improved UI, advanced sequence pattern randomizer". It had the randomize thing before, but seems it is improved (the old one would start to sound kinda same after a while, this seems more fleshed out).
