Threshold Value for Effect IDLE engagment?

Greetings all,

I am doing some subtle effect work in a quiet space.. Some of my reverbs are being cut off by the auto IDLE becoming active before the actual tail is sufficiently ended (to my taste). Is there a panel that has the control for this sensitivity? Is it per-plugin-instance or would it be a global control?

Thanks muchly.

Idling happens when the input falls to 0. You can disable idling by long pressing where on/off/idle appears and disabling idling in the options panel.

The toggle to disable idling is remembered per plugin too, so if there's a problematic plugin you generally only need to set it once. On the other hand, if it's only a one-off situation, you need to remember to turn it off to conserve CPU use in other projects.

I understand this fact so far... but is there a way to add a delay to that idling or something to allow the effect to ring out before the idle kicks in?

Typically, the IDLE kicks in only after the effect has died out. Which reverb isn't this working with? I just tried Blackhole and AudioReverb and both of them wait to idle until their output falls to 0 even if the instrument is muted or send set to 0 while they are still reverberating.

Can you screen record the situation and make sure that we can see the extended mixer
