Trigger delay in seconds?

I would love if i could add a non-musical duration delay (seconds) to my trigger delays. If the clock is not set it does not add any delay to triggers which is messing up a certain workflow. Any advice here?

I am trying to delay the disabling of effects for CPU load reasons... Works fine when clock is set and going but before a loop starts and tempo is not set it breaks my feature.

    currently the only way to do this is with a dummy action that has a ramp time since ramp times are the only place where loopy currently uses absolute time. what i do is have a slider widget (usually hidden by putting it in another page). Use an action to toggle its value and set a ramp time and you can use it between other actions as an absolute delay.

    Here is such an action set up for a 3ms delay
